Strategy Director
Job Description

Ready to take the drivers seat in shaping our Industry Divisions future? We’re looking for an exceptional Strategy Director to join our team and spearhead the development and execution of our Divisional strategy.

 

Want to make a real impact, as you collaborate, strategize, and drive our Divisional objectives forward? In this role you become a key player, reporting to the VP WT, Transformation & Strategy, you’ll oversee a talented team of 2 dedicated and engaged employees and 1 graduate. Your communication and stakeholder management superpowers will be put to use as you lead the strategy, secure collaboration and insure buy in. 


What is the job about? 
As Strategy Director you collaborate with the Divisional leadership team to develop and refine the Divisional strategy, ensuring alignment with the ambition of the Grundfos Group. You act as trusted advisor on strategical matters, as well as support and drive the leadership team in executing strategic initiatives, fostering collaboration across functions to strengthen the division's positioning. 

 

Furthermore, your main responsibilities are: 

  • Lead the annual strategic planning cycle, including preparation of business review meetings and reporting obligations to key stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a robust strategy deployment process, monitoring and evaluating the strategy's progress, with a focus on strategy review and using tools like the X-matrix.
  • Establish objectives, processes, operational efficiency, and concrete execution plans linked to the scope and targets of development.
  • Assist the Leadership team in developing their functional strategy deployment, creating clear long-term execution roadmaps and facilitating cross-functional tradeoffs.
  • Take responsibility for deploying GBS within IND, collaborating with the Divisional CEO and key IND LT members for guidance and sparring.
     

Your background
We imagine that you have: 

  • You have a master’s degree in business administration, engineering, finance or similar. 
  • 5-8 years management consulting background in top-tier consultancy or internal equivalent.
  • Experience building processes, developing, and executing key strategic initiatives within a complex business environment, preferably global.
  • Good communication skills, ability to set the agenda and maintain the overview in an environment with multiple stakeholders.
