Purpose of the Job
The Oceania Plant Manager will be accountable for the SQDICP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Cost &People) performance and development of several plants through task guidance, direction setting and motivation of the workforce.
The ideal candidate will be supporting our sales division and be responsible for the monthly/yearly planning cycle. Good opportunities for growth within the divisional setup. This role will be based in Adelaide, South Australia

Responsibilities:
- Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive and inclusive work environment
- Select, supervise, guide, evaluate and develop a team of supervisors/employees to ensure that the department achieves the business goals
- Select the right people and keep them trained and motivated to add value for Grundfos customers. Secure the right mix of abilities and successors in the plant
- Support our sales divisions with organized and fast deliveries and collaborate around tactical and strategical decisions regarding setup and footprint
- Plan, direct, and monitor day-to-day activities of a single plant to achieve short- and medium-term financial and operating goals set by the overall corporate business plan
- Responsible for activities such as maintenance, manufacturing, quality control, engineering, supply and internal logistics in respect of safety, quality, delay, cost, inventory and people standard
Skills and Experience Required:
Industry, market and business environment
- Experience guiding and creating processes preferably within production and lean.
- Experience implementing on strategies and strategic initiatives within a complex business environment; experience from a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
- Experience guiding a team and process preferably within production
- Most likely to have 5-7 years of relevant work experience before entering level
Technical, functional and professional
- Solid ability to supervise and influence others
- Solid knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within production
