What is the job about?  

 

As a Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the role is to drive sales to Industry customers. Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new sales opportunities as well as maintaining recurring business with existing customers. Sales Engineer must be well aware of development in the market and at the customers and the knowledge must be shared within the team and across PU’s to strengthen the Grundfos Business result and market share. Sales Engineer will participate and drive trainings for customers and potential new customers to drive awareness of Grundfos offerings.

 

Among other exciting tasks, you will:

 

  • You will independently develop and grow sales within own area of responsibility  
  • You will develop market knowledge to successfully drive commercial activities
  • You will develop knowledge in the market on Grundfos solutions – explaining the benefit for the different customer groups within the customers organization
  • You will identify different stakeholders (decision makers) and utilize the right approach to drive sales
  • You will ensure quality opportunity pipeline and strong hit rate
  • You will introduce new product and solutions to the customers
  • You will monitor and report on pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability and drive debt collections within own area
  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure we are perceived as highly customer Centric and collaborative ensuring one Company Culture.

 

What do you need to be successful?

 

  • You have Bachelor degree in business and have technical background as well
  • You have 3-5 years of relevant experience from a large international company working in a similar role 
  • You have fluent English knowledge - preferably other European languages besides native language  
  • You are willing to travel.
