Environment, Health & Safety
Facility Specialist
Job Description

Do you thrive on turning ideas into action and shaping the spaces where innovation happens?
And are you ready to make an impact in a company that’s solving the world’s water and climate challenges?

At Grundfos, we’re looking for a Facility Specialist to join our Water Treatment team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in driving facility-related projects and initiatives that support our operations and sustainability goals. If you’re someone who enjoys doing new things, thrives on continuous improvement, and is excited by the idea of developing even better solutions — this is your opportunity.

What is the job about?
As our new Facility Specialist, you’ll lead and support facility-related projects that ensure our buildings are efficient, safe, and future-ready. You’ll work across teams and with external partners to deliver high-quality solutions — from optimizing energy consumption to maintaining infrastructure and driving innovation in how we manage our spaces.

We’re looking for someone dynamic, curious, and hands-on — someone who sees every challenge as a chance to improve and every project as a platform for progress.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Lead and support facility projects from planning to execution

  • Estimate costs, resources, and timelines — and deliver on them

  • Maintain and continuously improve building infrastructure and systems

  • Monitor and optimize energy consumption to meet sustainability goals

  • Evaluate and collaborate with external consultants and service providers

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal standards

  • Provide technical guidance and foster cross-functional collaboration

  • Contribute to the development of smarter, more efficient facility processes

Your background:

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field (advanced degree is a plus)

  • Experience in facility roles, ideally in a global manufacturing environment

  • Experience in project management and stakeholder collaboration

  • Experience with building maintenance, energy systems, and vendor management

  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement

  • Ability to communicate and to adapt in a dynamic environment with various stakeholders

What’s in it for you?
At Grundfos, your growth is our priority. Whether you want to deepen your expertise or explore new paths, we’ll support you with learning opportunities, mentoring, and a clear career path. You’ll join a purpose-driven company where your work truly matters — and where your ideas are welcomed. Moreover, you will get:

  • Flexible hours and up to 3 days’ paid leave for volunteering

  • Access to the Grundfos Academy for personal and professional development

  • A diverse, inclusive culture with employee-led networks and communities

  • Access to health insurance and parental support
