What is the job about?
As our new EHS Supervisor, you will be appointed as the safety representative for Denmark, ensuring compliance with local environmental regulations.

You will be the driver for creating a sustainable EHS framework for Grundfos Water Treatment in Denmark. This involves identifying EHS risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies, and leading initiatives to prevent workplace injuries, illnesses, and environmental issues. Moreover, you will be driving the process of obtaining ISO 14001 in Grundfos Water Treatment Denmark.

This role offers a unique opportunity to leave your mark by building the EHS framework from the ground up—aligned with Grundfos standards and tailored to local regulatory requirements. You’ll also supervise a small team and support the broader Water Treatment division in achieving its sustainability and safety goals.

Your main responsibilities 

  • Administer environmental permits and reporting requirements. 

  • Implement and maintain the EHS management system for Denmark 

  • Lead safety initiatives such as risk assessments, compliance reviews, and incident investigations 

  • Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place 

  • Support sales offices and improve safety culture across the organization 

  • Supervise and develop a team of 2–5 EHS professionals 

  • Drive HR and sustainability initiatives within your scope of responsibility 

  • Contribute to strategic projects and ensure alignment with Grundfos’ values and goals 


Your background 

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, EHS management, or a related field  

  • Experience in EHS and quality roles preferably from an international, matrix organizations 

  • Interest and/or experience in leadership and the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams 

  • A proactive mindset and the ability to analyze complex situations and drive change 

  • Communication skills and fluency in professional English 

  • Understanding of risk analysis, sustainability, and regulatory compliance 

  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 

  • Experience in being an EHS Auditor
