Technician, Production Assembly

As our new Technician, Production Assembly, you will be executing assembly and testing operations across multiple pump production lines, working closely with production engineers to ensure quality output and continuous improvement. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Production Assembly team, you'll create impact by Ensuring the reliable assembly and testing of Grundfos pump products that deliver sustainable water solutions to customers worldwide..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Execute work orders per defined work instructions, operating machinery and equipment across different assembly lines
  • Perform assembly and testing processes using various techniques, reporting and rectifying any non-conforming products or quality failures
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance of factory equipment and flag calibration or repair needs to prevent breakdowns and downtime
  • Maintain 5S standards, perform housekeeping of workstations, and adhere to all safety and environmental policies
  • Initiate improvement processes and utilise systems such as SAP to support efficient assembly team operations
  • Communicate BOM deviations and production issues promptly to the line leader for resolution

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a reliable, physically fit team player with strong technical aptitude, the ability to multi-task, and a commitment to meeting deadlines with minimal supervision. We would also imagine that you have:

  • GCE O Level or NITEC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and complete tasks within deadlines
  • Physical fitness to work in a production environment and ability to work extended hours when required
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with SAP or similar manufacturing execution systems
  • Prior hands-on experience in a production assembly or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with 5S methodology and lean manufacturing principles
