About the Role

 

Develop and implement marketing plan to achieve Industry- Asia Pacific strategic objectives through effective and efficient marketing and communications activities in line with the business strategy. Also work as a regional and local collaborator of Industry Sales Development

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

 

  •    Develop Industry- Asia Pacific marketing plan on both strategic and operational level, in alignment within Industry- Asia Pacific Sales Development. Meet the key performance indicators defined by Division Marketing and solution and IND APAC to track the marketing performance and implement marketing excellence in assigned area.
  • With an overview of product development and design, and based on the regional and local customer insight, plan, design and manage execution of major marketing and sales promotion campaigns, including but not limited to product new launch, exhibitions, seminars, media, POS, customer attractions and channel marketing programs, both for regional and local country activities.
  • Conceptualize and standardize programmes, activities and events in order to make it easy to scale and execute more activities efficiently. Benchmark with other IND regions or other PUs and implement continuous improvement with the co-work with area sales teams.
  • Budget planning and controlling according to approved plan. Provide proposal for necessary adjustment to Sales Development director and IND APAC. Responsible for marketing activity vendor management.
  • Develop and provide expected marketing content and selling materials or tools to feed for both regional and area needs, including but not limited to Product catalogue and Price List update, etc.
  • Co-work with other teams under Sales Director and Area Sales team by providing support to commercial priorities in IND APAC. Liaise with other managers to ensure marketing activities are integrated with other parts of the business and align with the overall business objectives.
  • Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop a high performing team of marketing professionals to ensure the department achieves the business objectives, also to guide and coach for better talent development.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Major in Marketing or relevant, 8+ years related working experience;
  • Experience leading and/or creating processes preferably within marketing.
  • Experience executing on strategies and strategic initiatives within a complex business environment; experience from a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
  • Experience leading a team or process preferably within marketing.
  • Strong ability to lead and/or influence others.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within marketing.
  • English as working language and preferably at a Spokesman level
