Job Description

Are you a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives on building high-performing teams and driving safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor? Then join our mission to pioneer smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.

As our new Team Leader, Production Assembly, you'll lead and develop a production assembly team to deliver strong SQDCIP performance through coaching, daily management, and continuous improvement. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive, and inclusive culture that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging

What You Will Be Doing

As a key part of the Production Assembly team, you'll create impact by driving a strong safety culture, eliminating waste, and empowering your team to consistently meet quality, delivery, and productivity targets.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead, coach, and motivate production employees to achieve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory, and People (SQDCIP) targets through hands-on shop floor leadership
  • Facilitate Daily Action Meetings (DAM), communicate priorities, track actions, and maintain visual performance management across the team
  • Drive continuous improvement and Grundfos Production System (GPS) initiatives through structured problem solving, standardization, and waste elimination
  • Coordinate training, cross-training, and competency development to build workforce capability and flexibility
  • Ensure production flow by identifying bottlenecks, implementing countermeasures, and maintaining high standards of 5S, TPM, and equipment care
  • Investigate safety incidents, drive corrective actions, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards

What Makes You a Great Fit

Above all, you're a people-focused production leader with strong coaching skills, practical Lean manufacturing experience, and a proven ability to deliver results through others while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. We'd also imagine that you are/have:

  • 4-7 years of manufacturing experience with direct team leadership or supervisory responsibilities
  • Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Visual Management, TPM, and structured problem-solving methodologies
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills with experience in workforce planning and competency development

It's a plus if you also:

  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems and production reporting tools
  • Knowledge of Daily Action Management (DAM) and KPI-driven operational performance systems
  • Experience driving change management and facilitating cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams

Why You'll Love Working Here

Day to day, you can look forward to:

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities and parental support.
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.
