As our Lead Purchasing Manager,  a key role that  you will be driving strategic initiatives in Commerical Building Service division globally.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the Global Procurement team, you'll create impact by Leading strategic sourcing initiatives that strengthen our supply chain resilience, reduce total cost of ownership, and support Grundfos's mission to pioneer sustainable water solutions..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Deputy for Global Procurement Divisional leader in relevant leadership fora
  • Define roadmap of divisional projects and activities involving GP. I.e. cost out, PMI, de-risking, localization/regionalization, make/buy feasibility etc.
  • Project manage prioritized projects and activities
  • Plan, coordinate and track progress on divisional activities across Global Procurement function
  • Establish and drive professional performance management in order to define and execute the right divisional performance goals
  • Ensure and improve process and methodology of driving divisional performance. I.e. cost out, resilience and other activities
  • Establish and take part in purchasing forum across divisions to align on approach, projects etc. 

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a strategic procurement leader with deep experience in direct materials category management. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 10+ years of experience with project management
  • Proven record of working in larger international company and preferrable change management
  • Proven experience in handling complex projects / activities globally
  • Rich experience of industrial Categories. I.e. Metal, cast Iron/Cast Stainless Steel/Electric Motor/machining.
  • Experience of handling global cross country/regions activities
  • Able to drive projects end to end and ensure progress
  • Deliver as planned, following up, setting targets for project success
  • Get to decision with medium complexity
  • Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Action oriented
  • Self-confident
  • Relating and Networking; demonstrated ability to navigate towards senior leadership
  • Good interpersonal skills, good at communicating and presentation
  • Having a pro-active mind-set with the ability to anticipate problems and questions
  • Well-structured, dedicated, persistent, stress resistant, service-minded and goal-oriented
