Your main responsibilities include:
- Lead China market, competitor, and industry intelligence activities — translating macroeconomic trends, competitive benchmarks, and external signals into strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Support divisional and regional strategy deployment by partnering with division heads, regional leads, and global & local stakeholders to identify market opportunities, competitive risks, and growth priorities across China and APAC
- Support strategic rational scoping, identification, screening, and strategic assessment of potential M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and inorganic growth options aligned with Grundfos China's long term agenda
- Own and coordinate monthly and quarterly ONE Grundfos Country Forum preparation, content development, follow up, and stakeholder alignment for the Country President and senior leadership team
- Prepare executive level presentations, briefing materials, speeches, and key messages for internal leadership and external engagements with VIP customers, government stakeholders, and strategic partners
- Support the preparation of China sustainability reports and help connect sustainability priorities with local business development opportunities and corporate positioning
What makes you a great fit
Above all, we would also imagine that you have:
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Strategy, Management, or related field; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience in strategy planning, business development, market analysis, consulting, or corporate planning — ideally combining experience from global management consulting companies together with hands on industry exposure, ideally in industrial, manufacturing, water, infrastructure, or energy B2B environments
- Excellent executive communication, practical AI proficiency and PowerPoint storytelling skills with proven stakeholder management capability across senior leadership levels
- Business fluent English and native or fluent Chinese required
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with M&A screening, due diligence support, or strategic partnership evaluation
- Track record of managing external consulting firms and market research agencies
- Comfort working across both big picture strategic thinking and detail oriented execution in fast paced, ambiguous environments
