Job Posting –Lead Sales Development Manager


Job Purpose:
As Lead Sales Development Manager you will be a part of a global Service Sales Development team in Water Utility Service and Solution Performance Unit.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead, manage sales development activities in China for digital and service solutions. It includes development and execution of commercialisation plan, sales development activities for digital service offerings as software as a service (SAAS) and etc. 


Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities
•    Build, test and mature digital offerings within global prioritized applications and end users based on available technology, incl. G2M strategies, customer success, framework for collaboration, pricing structure and opportunity management
•    Engage with regional and local markets to run pilots, MVP commercialization and scale of digital service offerings.
•    Support global capability build incl. E2E training to maximize success (Sell, deliver, support capabilities)
•    Drive Service/aftersales opportunities for offerings in close collab with global BD organization, service and sales
•    Supporting the Area Sales teams in identifying existing and new market opportunities for new service offerings 
•    Responsible for developing and providing functional trainings to the sales organisation by acting as competence centre.
•    Support and align the yearly marketing activity plan so it reflects new service offerings launches and other activities.
•    Build and develop new market/strategic service business areas (including verticals, new business models (bundles of portfolios).
•     Other Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.             


Required Minimum Qualifications
•    Master’s in business administration, digital business or commercial degree. Strong commercial mindset and proven track record of results.
•    8 years of relevant experience in a business development / sales development role. 
•    Experience with digital solutions: digital sales/ Software as a Service. 
•    Degree in engineering (electrical or automation) is advantage. 
•    Experience in working with water utility business (municipalities, waste water networks, water treatment and etc) is advantage.
•    English and Mandarin excellent proficiency (written and spoken).
