As our new Financial Controller - Japanese Speaking, you will be securing compliant and optimized performance reporting for Grundfos legal entities in the APAC region, leading both internal and external financial reporting with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. What you will be doing

As a key part of the APAC Finance Controlling team, you'll create impact by Driving financial reporting excellence and strengthening the internal control environment across our APAC legal entities to support Grundfos's global growth ambitions.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Lead accurate monthly, year-end, and statutory financial reporting for Grundfos Japan and another APAC legal entity, including managing relationships with statutory outsourcing partners
• Drive continuous improvement of the internal control environment to achieve group target scores, while ensuring compliance with global policies and the Group Accounting Manual
• Manage and lead the external audit process end-to-end, serving as the main contact for local authorities, auditors, and outsourcing partners
• Evaluate compliance issues in business cases and projects in close cooperation with business partners across the organization
• Challenge and support harmonization, efficiency, and effectiveness of global finance controlling, statutory compliance, and internal control processes
• Support forecast and budget activities for Country Directors and the broader Finance organization at Group and Performance Unit levels

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented finance professional with deep expertise in IFRS reporting, statutory compliance, and taxation, combined with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive process improvements in a complex, international environment. We would also imagine that you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in corporate finance, including audit, accounting, and taxation
• In-depth knowledge of international and/or local accounting and taxation legislation (IFRS experience required)
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken)
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, with intermediate Excel and Power BI skills

It is a plus if you also:

• Prior experience in a multinational manufacturing or industrial organization
• Demonstrated change management capabilities and experience leading process improvement initiatives
