Commercial & Pricing Excellence Manager,CBS-China
What is the Job about
Drive commercial excellence and pricing excellence across CBS China to enable profitable growth. This role strengthens pricing governance, enhances commercial processes, develops data‑driven insights, and supports sales teams with tools, analytics, and capabilities needed to win in the market.
Your main responsibilities
1.Pricing Excellence & Governance (30%)
- Lead pricing strategy deployment in CBS China in alignment with global and regional pricing directions.
- Maintain pricing procedures, tools, and master data to ensure accuracy and compliance with global standards.
- Collaborate with Global Pricing Excellence (GPE) on annual pricing cycles, price setting, and price waterfall optimization.
- Conduct pricing performance reviews, identify gaps, propose corrective actions, and drive implementation.
2. Commercial Excellence & Sales Enablement (25%)
- Support sales teams by defining standards for commercial processes (e.g., opportunity management, forecasting, discount governance).
- Enhance sales execution through training, best practice sharing, and development of commercial playbooks.
- Partner closely with CBS China Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain on end‑to‑end commercial process improvements.
3. Insights, Analytics & Reporting (20%)
- Develop dashboards and reports to support decision‑making in pricing, sales performance, forecasting, and margin improvement.
- Utilize data from CRM, pricing tools, and market intelligence to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Provide structured insights for leadership reviews and monthly SIOP cycles.
4. Demand Planning Collaboration (10%)
- Partner with Supply Chain on demand planning accuracy, ensuring pricing and commercial insights inform the SIOP process.
- Review demand trends with sales leaders and refine planning assumptions.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration & Projects (15%)
- Act as a key link between CBS China and Global/Regional COEs including Pricing Excellence, Commercial Excellence, Sales Excellence, and Strategy teams.
- Drive cross‑functional improvement projects, including commercial transformation, pricing optimization, or capability building.
- Support change management efforts to embed new tools, processes, and standards.
Your background
- Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced degree preferred (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
- Experience
- 7–10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial excellence, sales operations, or strategic planning.
- Experience working in multinational B2B industrial or tech environments preferred.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and deliver analytical insights.
- Technical Skills
- Strong analytics capability (Excel, Power BI, CRM, pricing tools).
- Knowledge of pricing methodologies (value‑based pricing, price waterfall, segmentation).
- Familiarity with SIOP or demand planning processes.
