Credit &Collections Senior Manager - CBS/APAC & China
What is the Job about
The Credit & Collections Senior Manager is a key member of the Global OtC leadership team and a key stakeholder of the global division and sales organization. The role has the purpose to partner with the division leadership for strategic credit decisions and for driving working capital performance whilst building excellent relationships with the global customer base. The C&C Senior Manager will be accountable for executing a major transformation project in their region.
Main responsibilities
• Lead the regional Grundfos credit & collections team; lead by performance unit credit and collections strategy, ensure compliance with group policy and global processes and risk management; dual hat leadership for one division.
• Drive the global functional transformation on credit and collection including organization, process, technology/tools, transitions and productivity.
• Strong partner with division sales leadership and division finance business partners. Engage and ensure favourable contract terms.
• Ensure effective execution in the region for the global credit policy.
• Lead the annual credit & collections budgeting, forecasting and target setting process in the region and for the division.
• Accountable for driving global financial performance across the region and division; best in class performance on DSO, overdue and AR working capital.
• Design and propose value-adding financing solutions that enable sales growth (project financing, factoring or other schemes)
• Design and implement best in class global performance reporting. Ensure accurate and timely monthly actuals reporting.
• Be in control and have a full understanding of Working Capital / Cash Conversion, DSO, AR Overdue, Bad Debts Provision, Sales Growth, Unapplied Cash
• Lead a team of >10 people and ensure high motivation levels
• Internal Stakeholder Communication: Manage the relationship and communication with executive leadership of the divisions and global teams (CSSC, Logistics, GIAS etc.) ensuring alignment of credit and collections strategies with organizational objectives
• Stakeholder Engagement in External Partnerships: Collaboration with external partners (e.g., key customers, banks, auditors etc);
• Risk Management & Compliance, Audit Readiness, Involvement in internal/external audits. Demonstrate strong analytical skills in interpreting financial statements to assess entity risk profiles and support strategic decision-making
• Lead the integration of AI and advanced technologies within Finance Order to Cash organization
• Identify and drive adoption of AI and automation tools; champion AI driven solutions
Your background
- Ideally 10+ years of finance leadership experience, preferably in a medium/large multi-national company with a matrix set up
- Bachelor of Science in Economics, Finance, Accounting or similar
- Hands-on experience in credit and collections management
- Experience with project sales, letter of credits, credit part of project contracts
- Experience with XLS, Power Bi, SAP + FSCM, Advanced Automation & Reporting Tools
- Strong business acumen
