As our new Application Engineer , you will be designing and delivering HVAC, cooling and chilled water system solutions — from PLC programming and system commissioning to technical drawing and on-site project support — for industrial customers across China. 

What you will be doing
As a key part of the Application & Solution Development, IEM-IND China team, you'll create impact by Delivering innovative, energy-efficient pump system solutions that help industrial customers reduce costs and optimize operations while strengthening Grundfos's position as a trusted technology partner.

Your main responsibilities include:
•    Design system solutions for HVAC, cooling and chilled water applications including pump selection, equipment sizing and system optimization
•    Develop, compile and commission PLC programs for automatic control, variable frequency regulation and energy consumption monitoring
•    Create technical drawings (process diagrams, schematics, pipeline layouts, installation drawings) and documentation including proposals, specifications and commissioning reports
•    Provide on-site technical guidance during construction, system commissioning and acceptance, resolving technical faults to ensure stable operation
•    Support the sales team with technical consulting, solution presentations and technical negotiations for energy-saving projects

What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a hands-on engineer with strong pump system application knowledge, PLC programming skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams under dynamic project conditions. We would also imagine that you have:
•    Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Automatic Control, Hydrodynamics or related field
•    3-5 years of experience in pump systems, engineering or energy management — with knowledge of pump parameters, performance curves, motors and frequency converters
•    Proficiency in CAD drawing software and PLC programming/commissioning
•    Good English reading, writing and communication skills alongside native-level Chinese
It is a plus if you also:
•    Experience in cooling and process cooling water (PCW) system design and control system debugging
