As our new Associate Customer Sales & Support Center (CSSC) Application Engineer, you will be evaluating complex customer enquiries and providing expert technical assistance on product sizing, applications, and system solutions for commercial building projects across the APAC region.
What you will be doing
In this role, you'll create impact by delivering tailored engineering solutions that ensure our customers' commercial building systems perform reliably and meet the highest project specifications and standards.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Evaluate complex enquiries and provide technical assistance on product sizing, application, and system solutions, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial specifications
- Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, and project specifications to evaluate technical requirement and recommended compliant product & system solutions
- Deliver high-quality customer support across telephony, email, chat, and digital channels while meeting established Service Level Agreements
- Support sales teams with tenders and project management by supplying detailed specifications, calculations, delivery timelines, and addressing operational concerns
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and technical specifications aligned with tender requirements
- Identify business opportunities and upsell potential, coordinating handovers to external sales teams
- Manage and follow up on technical cases using standardized procedures, ensuring timely resolution and accurate customer data maintenance
- This role will provide support to Commercial Building Segment (CBS) APAC English Cluster, facilitating smooth business operations and ensuring that all activities and offerings are closely aligned with the strategic objectives of the region
- Support with ad hoc tasks defined by leadership.
What makes you a great fit
You are a technically skilled professional with strong knowledge of commercial building systems, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and tender documents, and a customer-first mindset. We would also imagine that you have:
- 2–5 years of experience in Technical Support or Customer Service, preferably in pumps or technical engineering environment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including plan layouts, schematic diagrams, and system flow diagrams
- Knowledge of commercial building systems such as Heating, Ventilation, Airconditioning (HVAC), plumbing, firefighting, and water & wastewater supply systems
- Ability to evaluate technical requirements and ensure solutions meet project specifications and compliance standards
It is a plus if you also have:
- Experience supporting the Singapore market or similar regulated environments
- Familiarity with project specifications, tender documents, and regional compliance requirements
- Experience with CRM tools and digital customer support platforms
