As our new Service Sales Manager, Southwest US, you will be generating profitable service sales across Commercial Building Service, Industry, and Water Utilities markets for Peerless Pump by leading the full sales process with professional end-users and key accounts throughout the Southwest US territory (California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah) with a focus on Los Angeles and California.

You can be based anywhere in Southern California, preferably Los Angeles, and will work remotely.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Peerless Pump Service & Solutions, North America team, you'll create impact by growing market share for the Peerless brand by delivering maximum value propositions and positioning us as the preferred service partner for critical pumping infrastructure.
Your main responsibilities are to:
- Drive service sales growth by calling on targeted professional end-users and distributors, developing early awareness of projects and contracts across the Southwest territory.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key decision makers at existing and target accounts, coordinating closely with local sales management.
- Develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales plans with clear goals and strategies to accomplish revenue targets.
- Conduct product training sessions to increase the contracting community's awareness of the full Peerless service portfolio and product offerings.
- Analyze market positioning of Grundfos products and services to recommend optimal pricing strategies that maximize contribution margin and customer value.
- Stay current on service industry trends and competitive conditions, making recommendations on product changes, additions, or new opportunities to leadership.
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically sharp sales professional with deep knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, and rotating equipment, combined with proven success selling service products and a talent for strategic account management. We would also imagine that you have:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree with in a technical field, or 5+ years of relevant sales/commercial/technical experience in pumps, hydraulics, or rotating equipment.
- Proven success selling service products, preferably centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps, or other rotating equipment.
- Working knowledge of pump systems, controls, and all aspects of operation, installation, and maintenance.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver technical product training and presentations.
It is a plus if you also have:
- Experience with key account management in Commercial Building Service, Industrial, or Water Utility markets.
- Familiarity with the Peerless brand or Grundfos product portfolio.
- Strategic planning capabilities with a track record of developing and executing territory sales plans.
You'll also be available for travelling up to 130 days per year.

The salary range for this position is $77,300 - $116,755. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.
Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in the Northwest region.
