Sales Development Intern – Industry Division East Asia

What is the Job all about?

Are you interested in joining Grundfos as a Sales Development Intern – Industry Division, East Asia?

This is a high-impact role supporting our strategy in vital market segments, including IEM (Industrial End-user Manufacturer), OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), and Distribution, which are fundamental to our success in the region.

In this role, you will proactively enable business growth across East Asia by transforming market analysis on IT cooling, WT, and WWT applications into strategic insights. You will move beyond simple research to identify and qualify high-potential opportunities—both customers and solution partners—and play an active role in formulating the go-to-market strategies that capture them.

This position reports directly to the Senior Strategy Deployment Specialist and will be based in Seoul.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and research on emerging industry markets, with a focus on IEM (OPEX Energy & Water applications), OEM (IT cooling, co-creation), and WT, WWT applications.
• Develop insightful reports covering market size, key players, competitors, and product specifications for IT cooling and water reuse sectors.
• Identify and compile a list of high-potential CUE (Frequency converter) customers and solution partners.
• Support the formulation and execution of go-to-market strategies across East Asia, including support for IEM project sales.
• Assist in the Distribution partner program and the onboarding of new solution partners and contribute to increasing REEP2(Rate of Energy Efficient Product) by enhancing CUE opportunities.

Your Background:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical and research capabilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
