What is the Job all about?
This job will be responsible for the profitable growth in market share of Industry customers through the promotion and sales of Grundfos products and services in the specified markets. You need to provide direct and indirect technical and commercial supports to sales colleagues and customers. Window and collaborator of Global Product, Marketing and Solution functions etc. in the region who being able to voice out the local customer needs and local market trends from technical and commercial perspective.
You will be reporting to the Head of Customer Solution, IND APAC & China and will be assigned to work in Tokyo, Japan
Your main responsibilities:
The major tasks for the Senior Technical Key Account Manager include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide Technical Knowledge
- Offer in-depth technical expertise on Grundfos product ranges.
- Support internal and external stakeholders with product-related inquiries and technical challenges.
- Curate Holistic Solution Offerings
- Develop comprehensive solution packages, including bundling options, to drive market growth.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to tailor solutions that meet different categories of customer needs (OEM, IEM, and distributors).
- Carry Out ECA and EO Generation
- Execute Energy Check Advanced (ECA) to generate data for internal consumption.
- Leveraging on Energy Optimization reports generated to develop customer-centric EO proposal with strategic recommendations.
- Focus Areas: EO, iSolutions, Water Treatment, Dosing
- Specialize in developing solutions for REEP2 products, Energy optimization, iSolutions, water treatment, and dosing applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in these focus areas to ensure innovative and effective solutions.
Other Responsibilities:
- Achievement of agreed marketing objectives, sales volumes and contribution targets by providing technical support in the assigned area.
- Service the day-to-day requirements of all the designated customer base. Identify and explore opportunities to implement Value Added Services.
- Development of a designated customer or vertical base including preparation plans, budgets and technical promotional activities.
- Provide technical support to identify opportunities for new sales leads, new markets and / or products with the potential to use the expanding range of all Grundfos products and services, as well as Key Account framework agreements
- Developing and maintain positive relationships and sales revenue of the designated key accounts, EPC, design institutes etc.
- Work as area and regional level technical expert to prepare and provide training to sales team and customers in assigned areas
- Collaborate with CSSC, Operations, Global SD, Global Marketing and Solution, Product development and other internal functions to ensure our customers’ needs are met or exceeded.
- Co-work with Marketing to design and implement Key Account marketing plans in line with commercial priorities.
- Other tasks assigned by the manager that is commensurate with the position.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 5-8 years of relevant work experience in a technical environment.
- Basic to intermediate skills in major application areas (e.g. MS O365, SAP, mobility, OS, etc.)
- Basic level of English (being able to communicate with English)
