Working alongside over 100 talented engineers and technicians located in Denmark, Hungary, and Germany, you will collaborate within agile cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Head of Product Development, Digital & Services, you will act as a "consultant" for other teams, providing your expertise and support in system testing. Your assignments may vary, as you will be allocated to different projects in need of system testing for short to longer periods. As a system test engineer, you may also take on the role of verification manager in certain development projects.

What is the job about?
In this role, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless integration and compliance of our systems and solutions with all requirements. By testing the integration of various products and components, you will play a key role in ensuring that our systems function effectively and meet the needs of our end-users, who can be installers or homeowners. While other testers focus on specific product and component levels, you will concentrate on the system level.

Your main responsibilities:

As a System Test Engineer:

  • Creating test scripts for testing of end-to-end scenarios, especially the integration of mobile apps, communication channels and cloud applications with our physical products and software.
  • Writing end-to-end test artifacts for products and systems.
  • Planning the test execution, including own execution and delegation of specific tests.
  • Analyzing and reporting on the test results.
  • Automating tests and contributing to building the test environment.
  • Identifying missing requirements and pushing for improvements.

As verification manager:

  • Take part in preparing test plans and align on implementation of test plans.
  • Coordinate and align between teams in testing activities.
  • Decide on need for and re-use of common verification procedures.

Your background:
You most likely have a bachelor or master’s Engineer degree in HW Engineering, SW Engineering or Electronics Technician, combined with some years of experience.

Furthermore, we imagine that you have:

  • ISTQB certification, Foundation level.
  • Experience with testing at System of Products level.
  • Experience with communication protocols, architecture of automated test and test of integrated systems.
  • Experience in working with test equipment and measurement-oriented solutions.
  • Finally, it is a requirement that you speak and write English at a high level as we are a global company.
  • Experience with smart home devices and/or eco-systems is a plus.

What’s in it for you?
Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path. You’ll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive, trusting environment guided by six core values.

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:
•    Flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering of your choice.
•    Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programs.
•    Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development.
