About the role:
Grundfos is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will apply subject matter knowledge and demonstrate technical/business insight, working within the unit and/or across functional areas with limited supervision. This role involves developing plans to maintain an efficient, productive, and harmonious work environment, guiding, evaluating, and developing employees to ensure that the department achieves its business objectives.
What will You do?
- Develop and lead strategies within the business environment, contributing to the team's success.
- Strong account management to achieve business goals and increase sales in the assigned region through customer centricity.
- Identify potential customers and establish business relationships through professionalism and deep knowledge of our products and equipment.
- Establish and build key customer relationships.
- Participate in the analysis and research of focused customers or markets, growing customer relationships.
- Apply an understanding of target markets, products, and applications to bring added value to the sales process, resulting in market share gains.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers at existing and target accounts, in coordination with local sales management.
- Support all aspects of the sales process and contribute to ensuring Grundfos delivers maximum value propositions to the account.
- Conduct necessary due diligence to understand the total sales opportunity for Grundfos products in key accounts.
- Proactively strive to maximize the presence of Grundfos in focused accounts by ensuring all possible Grundfos products are applied.
- Manage specific key accounts and take the lead in growing and supporting global agreements that are aligned with key customers.
- Contribute to mutually beneficial process improvement and productivity gains at the account level within global agreement frameworks.
- Register and monitor all activities with customers in the global CRM tool, ensuring opportunities are nurtured according to company guidelines.
- Ensure customer master data is updated for the portfolio of customers under your responsibility.
- Represent Grundfos at various trade forums to promote the company in the market.
- Take on other tasks as may be assigned by the plant manager.
About You:
- Master’s Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience leading processes, preferably within account management.
- Experience working on a team developing and/or leading strategies within a business environment.
- Industry experience within a business environment; experience in a large manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
- Solid knowledge of plans, processes, and activities within the sales organization.
- Strong ability to influence others and support key business initiatives.
- Possess a strong understanding of relevant systems, local laws, and regulations applicable to the sales organization.
