What is the job about?
You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality data products that provide value to our customers. This role also involves collaborating with stakeholders to discuss and scope activities, translating them into technical requirements. Additionally, you’ll challenge and contribute to our standards while collaborating with your colleagues to help them overcome challenges. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll be part of a continuous learning journey, where you’ll discover new things every day.
Your main responsibilities:
- As a senior software engineer in our Data team, your responsibilities would be:
- Contributing to our analytics framework.
- Creating, implementing, and maintaining high-quality data products.
- Contributing to a high standard of documentation and to the development process.
- Identifying and solving complex problems using data insights and leveraging both Grundfos’ knowledge in the field but also new technologies.
- Collaborating with different teams involved in the product development to clarify technical requirements.
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- A Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering (or similar field).
- 2 to 5 years of experience working with data (data scientist or data engineer), software development or another relevant topic.
- Experience using version control, namely Git.
- Solid experience working with Python and developing Python applications.
- Knowledge of cloud (Azure) would be beneficial.
- Experience or knowledge with another language like C, C++, Rust or Go would be a plus.
- The same applies to topics like signal processing, machine learning and AI, where some understanding would be helpful and working.
- Some experience with IoT systems is beneficial.
- And most important, willingness to learn and step out of one’s comfort zone.
