What is the job about?

You will join one of our teams in the Software Development department which is part of Global Technology & Innovation taking care of all embedded software development in Grundfos.

As Senior Software Developer, you play a central role in the software team. You will be involved in the complete development cycle from analysis, design and architecture over coding and unit test to system testing and verification. Furthermore, you will take part in the platform and process development across the software organization.

In this job you will also play an important role in the collaboration between all the team in Grundfos contributing to the complete software solution. A motivation for working with various stakeholder in the organization and a proactive approach is needed.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • To create software applications and solutions to solve our customer’s needs. Take part in ensuring that the solutions fulfill the customers’ expectations towards usability and quality
  • Become part of a scrum team with software developers in Denmark, with a Scrum Master and a Product Owner
  • Take the Senior Developer role in the team, being proactive and frontrunner to ensure an efficient flow in software development activities
  • Be part of our great department with a great sense of unity and freedom, and in a larger, international software organization with 140+ colleagues placed in Denmark, China and India.
  • Take part in a transformation process where digital offerings are in focus. Software development is closely involved in this transformation, and you are also expected to participate and contribute to this journey

“You will be part of an experienced and self-organized agile software team, who is in daily dialogue with our colleagues in Development and Business, to solve the customers’ requests for new features and quality improvement on our solutions”, Manager, Kenneth Quade Kristensen says.

 

 

Your background:

We imagine that you are an experienced embedded software developer with deep embedded C knowledge. Moreover, you have a bachelor's or master’s degree in science or engineering. You are communicative in English both verbally and in writing and finally could have experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • distributed embedded system design and architecture
  • experience with Phyton
  • Basic understanding on Cloud and Connectivity
  • agile SW development – scrum and scaling scrum
  • stakeholder management and involvement
  • tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Doors and Pure::Variants
  • CI/CD, test automation and high focus on quality

Focus is on the embedded software for our products, but it is beneficial with a broader development mindset, enabling the team to work as independent with the complete customer experience.
