Marketing & Communication
Senior Social Media Strategist, APAC
Job Description

GRUNDFOS  ·  ORTIGAS, PASIG CITY  ·  HYBRID ROLE

Senior Social Media Strategist, APAC

Shape the social strategy of a global sustainability leader across 5 high-growth markets

THE OPPORTUNITY

Grundfos is one of the world's leading pump manufacturers and a global force in water technology, with a clear mission: to advance water solutions and sustainable living for people everywhere. We move 10% of the world's water — and we are just getting started.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility regional role that shapes how Grundfos is seen, heard, and trusted across five of Asia Pacific's most dynamic markets — Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand — all from our base in Manila.

You will own the full social media ecosystem: organic content, paid Meta campaigns, audience engagement, and performance analytics. You will work alongside senior marketing leaders, collaborate with market teams across APAC, and have the creative latitude to test, learn, and lead. This is not an executional support role. You will be the social media authority for the region.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead Social-First Content Strategy & Execution — Create scroll-stopping, platform-native content for Meta (static, carousel, Stories, Reels, short-form video). Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, scripting, and iteration — fast, on-brand, and culturally sharp.
  • Drive Paid Social Performance (Meta) — Plan, execute, and optimize full-funnel paid campaigns across Meta Ads Manager — from awareness to lead gen and conversion. Own targeting, creative testing, budget pacing, pixel hygiene, and delivery against CPA/CPL/ROAS targets.
  • Champion Localisation Across APAC — Coordinate market-ready content for 5 countries. Partner with local marketing teams to ensure every asset is culturally relevant, compliant, and on-voice. Manage translation workflows and quality-gate approvals.
  • Integrate Social SEO & Content Distribution — Apply keyword and search-intent thinking to social content — captions, hashtags, titles. Align with digital/web stakeholders to connect social to SEO priorities and conversion paths that drive qualified site traffic.
  • Build and Protect Brand Community — Monitor and respond to audiences; manage sentiment; surface insights and escalate issues per playbooks. Spot cultural moments and trending topics that open brand-safe engagement opportunities.
  • Turn Data into Decisions — Own organic and paid analytics. Produce weekly and monthly performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations. Run A/B test programmes to continuously improve creative output and media efficiency.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve — Monitor platform algorithm changes, AI tool developments, and competitor activity. Proactively bring new ideas and pilot programmes to the team — you set the benchmark, not just meet it.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a performance-minded social media professional who creates work that both looks great and drives measurable results. You are as comfortable in Meta Ads Manager as you are in Canva or CapCut, and you know how to tell a story that converts.

  • 5+ years' hands-on experience in social media management, covering both B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Deep Meta expertise: Ads Manager, Business Suite, campaign setup, A/B testing, creative optimization, and performance reporting.
  • Strong analytics capability: UTM tagging, platform dashboards, and the ability to translate data into clear strategic actions.
  • Solid SEO knowledge and an understanding of how search intent connects to social content and traffic outcomes.
  • Confident AI fluency — you actively use AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, etc.) to work faster without sacrificing quality or brand integrity.
  • Proficiency with creative tools: Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut / Premiere / After Effects or similar.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates social-first creativity, paid performance, and measurable results.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; able to influence and collaborate across cultures in a matrix organisation.
  • Familiarity with APAC market nuances — especially Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, or New Zealand — is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
