What is the job about?
The Senior Service Technician will apply broad expert technical knowledge and after-sales service to the local market for Grundfos supplied services and solutions. She/he will be responsible for Workshop repairs and ASP’s( technical support) and troubleshooting methodology for new and existing products. She/he will demonstrate high degree of understanding of customer needs. She/he will be responsible for the execution of the repair and maintenance work as agreed with the customer.

Your main responsibilities:
- Disassemble, inspect, trouble shoot, repair and replace part and re-assemble pumps, pump systems and accessories in a field service and/or shop environment.
- Identify the root cause of mechanical, electrical and systematic failures.
- Provide advice to customers at pump and system/application level.
- Carry out risk assessment before each job.
- Maintain and operate machinery for tools (drill press, lathe and mills).
- Conduct pump hydraulic tests, energy checks.
- Pass on customer leads to sales.
- Prepare quotes for out-of-warranty repairs.
- Assist leaders by identifying and providing solutions to service and warranty concerns.
- Write service / FAS reports
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Experience managing defined processes within the service environment
- English knowledge on communicational level
- Possess industry experience within a business environment; experience working in a service area is strongly preferred.
- Most likely to have 5-6 years of relevant work experience before entering level besides formal education
- Solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities within the functional area in the service environment
- Strong ability influence others
- Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems, local laws and regulations where applicable, for the service environment
