As our new Senior Sales Engineer, you will be driving technical sales engagements with key industrial and commercial customers, translating complex application requirements into tailored Grundfos solutions that optimize performance, efficiency, and sustainability. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Industrial Sales team, you'll create impact by Partnering with customers and internal teams to deliver engineered solutions that improve water and energy efficiency across critical industrial applications..

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities by conducting technical assessments and presenting tailored Grundfos solutions to industrial and commercial customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, consultants, and specifiers to grow market share and revenue in assigned territories
  • Provide expert technical support including system sizing, product selection, and application engineering to ensure optimal solution fit
  • Collaborate with internal teams—product management, service, and operations—to deliver seamless customer experiences from specification through commissioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and identify new business opportunities
  • Represent Grundfos at industry events, trade shows, and technical seminars to strengthen brand presence and generate leads

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a technically strong sales professional with a proven track record of selling engineered solutions in industrial or building services environments, who thrives on solving complex customer challenges. We would also imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Communicational English knowledge 
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales or application engineering within pumps, HVAC, water treatment, or related industrial sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and technical specifications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both engineering and executive audiences

It is a plus if you also:

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce and familiarity with selection/sizing software for rotating equipment
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency standards, variable frequency drives, and system optimization principles
  • Existing network of contacts among consulting engineers, contractors, or industrial end-users
