Senior Sales Engineer, WU - Denmark
Job Description

What is the job about?

As our new Senior Sales Engineer in Grundfos you will drive sales growth in municipally market Denmark. Moreover, you will:

  • Be responsible for driving a strong pipeline and ensure optimum hit rate within the area of responsibility.
  • Execute tactical sales plans and activities in line with the overall sales plans and strategy and assist in budget preparation for sales and marketing activities.
  • Provide advice to customers, consultants, dealers and contractors on products and their performance, new products, product modifications, system solutions, applications, terms of sales, service, replacement, spare parts etc.
  • Gather market information on business trends, competitor strategies and activities, and provide recommendation to business managers to counteract competitor strategies.
  • Register all activities with customers in the global CRM tool.
  • Ensure customer master data is updated on portfolio of customers under their responsibility.  Utilise SAP BW/Dashboards data for business analysis and forecasting.

This position will be based out from Sjælland, as this will be the main area that you are responsible for. Moreover, this position is hybrid and you can either work out from our small office in Brøndby or from home.

Your background
We imagine that you:

  • Have 5-6 years relevant work experience within sales combined with experience from a business environment.
  • Enjoy working independently, but at the same time is motivated by working and engaging with other people.
  • Has a structured mindset and a solid knowledge of the plans, processes and activities.
  • Strong ability influence others and enjoys presenting information.
  • Possess a great understanding of the relevant systems and technical knowhow.
  • Have good market knowledge and enjoys analysing market trends.
  • Are fluent in Danish and English
