Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Enablement Specialist to join its Commercial Fire Business team in Indianapolis.

As our new Senior Sales Enablement Specialist, you'll be transforming market data, customer insights, and competitive analysis into actionable go-to-market strategies that accelerate commercial growth across multiple markets and channels. What you will be doing


As a key part of the Commercial Excellence team, you'll create impact by developing data-driven sales strategies, market intelligence frameworks, and enablement programs that directly improve pipeline growth, win rates, and partner performance across our commercial organization.

 

Your main responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead comprehensive market assessments including TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, competitive benchmarking, and whitespace identification to develop 'Where to Play' and 'How to Win' growth recommendations
  • Build Power BI dashboards and executive reporting tools that analyze sales performance, pipeline health, and customer trends to deliver actionable insights to sales leadership
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize channel and strategic partners using structured scorecards, and support partner onboarding, performance reviews, and channel optimization
  • Develop sales playbooks, competitive battle cards, customer personas, and value propositions that improve sales productivity and win rates across targeted segments
  • Lead cross-functional commercial excellence projects, facilitating collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to drive strategic growth initiatives
  • Build executive-level business cases for market entry, investment decisions, and annual commercial planning

Above all, you're a strategic, analytically rigorous commercial professional with deep experience translating market intelligence into growth strategies, strong executive communication skills, and a proven ability to influence sales outcomes through data-driven enablement. 

 


We'd also imagine that you are/have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Commercial Excellence, Business Development, Market Intelligence, or related commercial roles
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Power BI, CRM systems, and business analytics tools
  • Demonstrated experience conducting market analysis, growth strategy development, and executive-level business case creation


It's a plus if you also:

 

  • Experience in industrial manufacturing, pumps, water, fire protection, HVAC, or engineered systems
  • MBA or advanced business education
  • Experience working with channel partners, distribution networks, and leading cross-functional strategic projects
  • You'll also be available for travelling up to 50 days per year.

The salary range for this position is $81,500-$127,975 (exempt).  Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.  The range listed is just one component of Peerless Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees.  Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc.  Peerless Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Indianapolis, Indiana.
