Senior Sales Developer, CBS

What is the Job all about?
The ultimate purpose of sales development manager is to expand a company's customer base. He will have to generate leads, solicit new potential customers, and connect these customers with the right salesperson. He will also be responsible for providing excellent presales support to agreed set of stakeholders.
Key accountabilities:
- To facilitate sales growth by providing consultative help to various stakeholders
- Proactively seek new business opportunities.
- Capture customer insights, nurture potential leads and engage sales team for the next step
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with sales team in identifying the customer and market segments to be targeted.
- Evaluating market opportunities and focusing on potential customers to attain short-term and long-term objectives.
- Manage and maintain opportunity pipeline from potential prospects
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
- To target potential stakeholders (End user / Consultants / Facility managers).
- Build and maintain high level contacts with prospective customers, including other business and project partners
- Actively seek inputs from business analyst team on the trends and competitive analysis and pursue sales development initiatives
- Coordinate with Marketing team on various inbound and outbound marketing strategies.
- Customise innovative solutions by actively coordinating with sales, service, 1Office, operations and solutions & marketing team.
- Facilitate identification of prospective vendors to position Grundfos as solutions provider.
- Explore partnership with companies that can complement our efforts to shore up our project handling capabilities.
- Facilitate Dtv measures to improve bottom line by reducing costs
- Coordinate with solutions & marketing team on new product launches and scale advanced solutions to new geographical market.
- Continuous learning to improve knowledge base as system expert and conduct training to key stakeholders.
- Represent Grundfos in various technical forums and seminars
Additional Duties:
- They may be assigned additional duties that include but are not limited to the following:
- Specific key account management.
- Distributor evaluation panels.
- Sales councils.
- Process Improvement teams.
- Sales Management
- Project Sales Management
- Special assignments through “Talents” or other programs.
Your background:
- Bachelor’s degree Technical/ marketing Field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience in capital goods / Pump / consulting industry would be preferable.
- Experience in the relevant market trends and activities
- Ability to engage, network, collaborate, and influence internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in selling value added services
- CRM Experience (SAP preferable)
