What you will be doing

As our new Senior Purchasing Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end purchasing activities in major development projects, developing and representing Group Purchasing strategies and deliverables.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Lead Purchasing deliverables in the development and launch of new products & solutions
  • Lead Purchasing Project plans, Resource plans and Risk mitigation plans
  • Represent Group Purchasing in cross-functional Project management teams having the overall full responsibility for what it takes to develop and launch new products & solutions
  • Support and drive enhancing Grundfos’ end-to-end supply chain by influencing supplier selection, supply chain resilience and sustainability ambitions in the development projects
  • Develop sourcing tactics aligned with project timelines, budgets, and quality requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and project management teams to ensure smooth delivery of purchasing objectives
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through supplier assessments and contingency planning
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives and monitor purchasing KPIs to achieve project targets

 

What makes you a great fit

You are a strategic, results-oriented purchasing professional with strong project management and negotiation skills, capable of navigating complex stakeholder landscapes in a global manufacturing environment. We also imagine that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, strategic sourcing, or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Proven experience managing purchasing activities in cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Supply chain understanding - End-to-end view from supplier to assembly
  • Technical understanding - Sufficient engineering and/or operations knowledge to navigate as Project Manager in development of new products & solutions

It is a plus if you also have:

  • Experience working across Operations and Product development is considered an advantage
  • PMP certification or similar project management credentials
  • International sourcing experience across regions and commodity categories
