Are you passionate about orchestrating production plans that keep factories running smoothly and customers satisfied? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.
As our new Senior Production Planner, you will be translating supply plans into actionable production and purchase schedules, balancing machine capacity, manning, and materials to ensure seamless operational execution across the supply chain. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture, that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by driving operational efficiency, by optimizing production plans and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver on time, every time..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Convert supply plans and incoming orders into feasible production and purchase plans, supporting execution across production and distribution centres
- Coordinate raw material purchasing activities with planning specialists to maintain optimal inventory levels across the supply chain
- Balance machine capacity, manning, and material availability within your assigned planning area to ensure a robust operational plan
- Handle exceptions impacting the production plan — including quality issues, equipment breakdowns, and delivery changes — and communicate adjustments to all relevant stakeholders
- Serve as a daily advisor to factory colleagues on operational planning matters, providing data and insights to support execution
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a proactive problem solver with strong communication skills, hands-on planning experience, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders while independently driving process improvements. We would also imagine that you have:
- 4+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or a closely related operational planning role
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience in supply chain, logistics, or a related field
- Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills, with experience collaborating across production, purchasing, and sales functions
- Solid problem-solving ability and experience managing exceptions and changing priorities in a manufacturing environment
It is a plus if you also:
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP in a production planning context
- Project coordination experience involving multiple departments or cross-functional initiatives
- A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of making processes more efficient
