Digital & IT
Senior Product Owner
Job Description

Do you want to be a Product Owner for a cutting-edge digital product catalogue? How about working to ensure global water supply and reduce power usage globally, and helping Grundfos deliver the industry’s best customer experience?

A customer-oriented, group business function working with ecommerce and digital tools

At Bjerringbro, you will join the Ecommerce & Digital Tools Department, working closely with your agile scrum teams and building good relationships with 10 other product owners from the Digital & Customer excellence function.

As our new Senior Product Owner you will be responsible for millions of products in the digital product catalogue. More specifically you will, together with two other Product Owners, be responsible for The Grundfos Product Center - GPC (https://product-selection.grundfos.com) containing hundred of thousands SKU’s.

As our new Senior Product Owner, you and your 2 GPC co-product owners will be in the driver’s seat, responsible for the vision and for delivering the necessary business capabilities to keep bringing this forward.

Working on a senior level, you will be heading the development effort by improving the optimal customer experience – and maximizing the business value of the digital product catalogue by clearly conveying the product vision to our agile scrum teams.

Specifically, tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Co-develop & deliver the GPC product playbook, concepts, and solutions that meet business requirements and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with customers and key senior stakeholders to discover business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, ensuring that we maximize the usage of the commercial capabilities of the platform.
  • Run, maintain, and improve the digital product catalogue and associated technologies.
  • Align the digital product catalogue activities with other product team playbooks.

A proficient digital product expert possessing skills in business, marketing, and customer engagement

As a person with a natural drive and ambition on behalf of both yourself and your teams, you are used to making big decisions and initiating action on a daily basis. With an open mind and a flexible nature, you thrive in a fast-paced environment where you challenge the status quo.

”We have been on our agile journey since 2020, and we have achieved great success as an ever-growing team. We are seeking a product owner who, in time, will know our business by heart and understands the intricacies and nuances of our customers needs. As you will work with colleagues both within the team and across the organization, it is important that you are great at managing stakeholders at all levels”

- Jan Torp Kristensen, Scrum Master supporting the Catalogue Product Team.

People probably see you as digital-savvy marketeer and somewhat of a geek when it comes to digital customer experiences, and you are comfortable using your creative, analytical and innovative business mindset in your work. Moreover, we imagine that you have:

  • A master’s degree or similar experience within digitalization.
  • 5-6 years of relevant work experience (champion of digital, product ownership, and marketing).
  • A proven history of product ownership and digital business development in a larger, global organization – with proven results to show.
  • Comprehensive business development skills, showcasing the ability to translate strategy into tactical roadmaps and results.
  • Great networking and communication skills and you can share insights and discuss possible actions with stakeholders in a non-technical language.
  • Experience of working as product owner in a Scrum team of 5-10 members in a scaled agile organization.

What’s in it for you?

Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path.
