Would you like to work in a value-driven, innovative, and international B2B company producing high-quality water solutions that contribute to a better climate and life for people around the globe?

What is the job about?

As a Senior Product Development Engineer – Software Requirements, you will be a key contributor to the development of Grundfos’ variable speed drive solutions. You’ll work within a dynamic scrum team of drive engineers, where your role centers around shaping software requirements and delivering robust software solutions. This position calls for a strong understanding of embedded product software as well as the broader ecosystem of accompanying tools. By bridging both domains, you’ll guide the creation of precise product specifications and drive the development of software solutions that integrate seamlessly across the full ecosystem.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Thriving in a mix of requirement specifications, planning, and hands-on work with our products
  • Bringing deep software understanding into the specification for new products, especially by driving the requirements for embedded software functionality
  • Understanding pump applications and identifying opportunities for creating value through intelligent software solutions
  • Contributing to high-quality requirement documentation across all elements of the software ecosystem
  • Ensuring embedded software is functioning seamlessly in real-world applications and delivering intuitive user experiences
  • Ensuring coherence and compatibility across apps, connectivity components, and products to deliver unified system-level solutions
  • Interfacing with global software development teams in GT&I as a key point of collaboration
  • Being familiar with Grundfos processes, standards, and best practices

We imagine that you have:

  • Expert level knowledge in technical domain (SW & Drives).
  • Understanding of product software in the context of Drives
  • 3 years relevant experience working in the problem space of product development
  • Experience with software architecture definitions and orchestration of software ecosystems resulting in consistency across the product offering.

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be a valuable part of a diverse network of pioneers guiding others in seeing possibilities, not problems. You’ll be instrumental in spreading our optimistic, can-do attitude to advance global innovation and a clear sense of purpose, embodying our six core values, guiding our colleagues in living them day by day, and making a difference in global projects. We support you in navigating your own career and development path,  both within your technical field and to broaden your interest or expertise in related technical areas.

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:

  • Diverse, inclusive environment with employee-led forums offering colleagues a safe place to connect and share openly
  • If you’ll be working from your home office, we’ll make sure you are well equipped with a good workstation. However, you are always welcome to our offices where you can engage, learn, and have fun with colleagues
  • On the top of it, flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programmes
  • Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development
