Senior Product Development Engineer
Job Description

What is the job about?

  • To ensure the given product and product line could be well maintained, monitoring and ensuring product compliance, product quality, cost-out and ability to produce the products.
  • To work as Point of Contact for full value chain stakeholders in given product line. Secure the communication/collaboration/effective execution towards the problem solving and product continuous optimization.
  • Ambassador of the Grundfos Value. Set Role model for proactiveness and strong sense of ownership.

 

Your main responsibilities:

  • To act as PoC(Point of Contact)  for a product line, monitoring and ensuring product compliance, product quality, cost-out and ability to produce the products.
  • Drive technical quality improvements, cost-out and legalization activities on the given product line.
  • Demonstrate overall global technical leadership of the given product line. Drive execution of the prioritized technical activities for the given product line.
  • Sets the overall direction for own technical area. Decide the technical direction and solution within new development and engineering activities for the given product line.
  • Ensure timely information and coordination with support and/or manufacturing units for successful implementation of changes to the given product line.
  • Performs Product Audits in manufacturing units handling the given product line to ensure correct use of product specification (drawing, instructions etc.).
  • Drive CPI (Continous Product Improvement) meeting towards continous optimizaton on given Product line.
  •  Provide specialist knowledge to our development organization on the given product line via participating in quality target setting and design reviews during development projects

 

What do you need to apply? 

We expect you have:

  • Must hold Bachelor Degree in electronics, mechatronics, configuration or similar
  • Control Panel design or electronics background is a necessity.
  • +7 years relevant experience. Leading on certain technical area.
  • Proficient English – verbal and written
  • Understanding Agile principles
  • Flexible to global travels as a condition to secure the facilitation across productions that are multi-regions based.
