Senior Planner
Job Description

Join Grundfos in pioneering smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and improving quality of life worldwide.As our new Supply Chain Planner, you will create feasible production and purchasing plans by balancing machine capacity, manpower, and material availability, while driving inventory optimization and operational planning best practices. What You Will Do

As part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you will help ensure the right products are available at the right time, supporting customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

       •      Convert supply plans and incoming orders into executable production and purchase plans for factories and distribution centers

       •      Coordinate raw material purchasing and inventory optimization with planning specialists

       •      Balance machine capacity, labor resources, and material availability in daily operations

       •      Manage planning exceptions such as quality issues, machine breakdowns, and delivery changes, while keeping stakeholders informed

       •      Improve inventory and capacity performance through product segmentation (A/B/C/D), excess & obsolete stock tracking, and KPI reporting (COTTR, ASOT, OC, CLT Precision, A-item availability)

       •      Act as a daily planning advisor to factory teams and support local/regional training activities

What Makes You a Great Fit

You are detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work cross-functionally while balancing planning accuracy with operational flexibility.

Required Qualifications

       •      Associate degree or equivalent experience

       •      4+ years of experience in supply chain planning or operational planning

       •      Strong SAP ERP knowledge

       •      Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, reporting)

       •      Strong communication skills with production, sales, purchasing, and customer service teams

       •      Good understanding of inventory management, production planning, and stock optimization

Preferred Qualifications

       •      Experience with Power BI or similar dashboard/reporting tools

       •      Knowledge of distribution center planning and cooperation with global DC teams

       •      Experience supporting business improvement projects in manufacturing or supply chain environments
