Senior Maintenance Technician III

As our new Senior Maintenance Technician III, you will be providing technical leadership across maintenance and facilities operations, troubleshooting complex equipment issues, driving preventive maintenance programs, and spearheading automation and process improvement projects that keep our factory running efficiently. What you will be doing:

 

As a key part of the Maintenance & Facilities team, you'll create impact by Driving operational excellence by minimizing equipment downtime, improving factory workflows through automation, and ensuring a safe, sustainable manufacturing environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues to minimize production downtime, liaising with third-party suppliers for purchasing or specialized repairs as needed
  • Implement and maintain the Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) program for all factory equipment, assembly lines, and testing facilities in collaboration with line leaders
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives including automation of processes, yield improvement, and cost reduction projects
  • Support new assembly projects, engineering works, and production equipment installations from planning through commissioning
  • Perform electrical work including low voltage repairs and replacements, and participate in facilities projects covering mechanical, painting, and daily maintenance needs
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS requirements, environmental procedures, and safety/quality lean initiatives, including proper waste handling and incident reporting

What makes you a great fit:

 

Above all, you are a seasoned maintenance professional with deep expertise in manufacturing equipment, strong problem-solving instincts, proficiency with precision measuring instruments, and the communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams. We would also imagine that you have:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in facility and machine maintenance within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of Good Engineering Practices and maintenance programs (reliability-centered, preventive, predictive)
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, indicators) and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Ability to utilize all hand tools and operate a forklift

 

It is a plus if you also:

  • Knowledge of factory mutual requirements, operational support, and capacity management
  • Experience with automation projects and production equipment commissioning
  • Advanced math skills for material fabrication calculations

 

 

The salary range for this position is $26.05 to $34.55  per hour.   Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile.
