As our new Senior Localization Specialist, you'll be managing and optimizing localization workflows, developing our translation management system, and terminology standards that ensure Grundfos product and marketing content reaches global audiences with precision and consistency.

What you will be doing

As part of the Technical Communications team (Language area), you'll govern and advance localization processes that enable users worldwide to access clear, high-quality product information in their own language.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on handling different file formats and automation integrations between our translation management system and other content platforms
  • Developing and maintaining standardized terminology and language guidelines to ensure quality, consistency, and translatability
  • Serving as operational project manager for internal stakeholders and external translation agencies, coordinating efficient delivery of localization projects
  • Researching, evaluating, and improving localization tools, processes, and platforms, including leveraging AI-related technologies
  • Optimizing content reuse through translation memory and quality tools to maintain consistent tone and reduce redundancy
  • Managing localization requirements including country-specific formatting, punctuation, and style rules.

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you're a detail-oriented localization professional with strong project management skills, top-level English proficiency, and the ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.

We'd also imagine that you have:

  • Master's degree in English, linguistics, literature, or translation (translator degree preferred) or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience in the translation/localization industry, including localization project management
  • Strong technical skills with localization software, content management systems, and terminology tools
  • Top-level English proficiency and excellent communication skills for navigating complex stakeholder environments

It's a plus if you also have:

  • Experience with Phrase or similar market-leading localization platforms
  • Knowledge of AI-related technologies applied to localization and content management
  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English
  • Terminology management experience is a strong plus.

Why you'll love working here

  • A working environment built around your needs, with flexible hours, home working opportunities
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, and a strong focus on well-being activities.
  • Three days' additional paid leave for volunteering.
  • On-demand training and structured development programmes to support your growth.
