What is the job about?
As our new Senior IT Manager, you will be part of our global IT organization, Information Services (IS). Your role involves leading and managing people, solutions, and deliverables within the IT department called IS Business Intelligence Solutions. You will be responsible for IT solutions that provide fact-based decision support for the entire Grundfos Group worldwide, such as operational reporting, dashboards, management reports, self-service analytics, etc.
You will lead a global team of approximately 20-22 BI specialists located in 5 different countries.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Selecting, leading, motivating, and developing the team to ensure the right competences and organizational performance.
- Delivering global high-quality solutions in extracting, reporting, analyzing, and visualizing business data.
- Managing people, solutions, budgets, and assets within your department.
- Sourcing and managing the use of external BI consultants.
- Engaging in close dialogue with relevant stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
- Driving the continued development and realization of the architectural roadmap within the BI area.
- Developing the organizational structure within your department, including a global footprint and the introduction of agile teams.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within a relevant field (IT, economy, business or similar) combined with several years of experience.
- Strong leadership skills and good cross-cultural understanding, preferably with experience leading a global team across countries.
- Good IT knowledge and experience working with Business Intelligence in a larger organization.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in English; fluency in Danish is a clear advantage.
- Personal qualities such as being open-minded, empathetic, dynamic, and self-motivating.
