Job Description

 

Grundfos Connect Asset Monitor is our Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platform enabling remote monitoring and control of fluid applications globally. 

With our pumps and digital solutions, we help people across the world every day.

 

  • The farmer in Australia ensures that his cattle have water without flying to the outback.
  • The nature protection specialist in Finland avoids that the wastewater ends up in the lakes without having to circle them all day.
  • The factory manager in the US knows they dose the right amount of chemical.
  • The heating grid operator in Denmark decides what temperature is needed in real time.
  • The water supplier in Africa knows whether it is safe to take up more groundwater

 

The product is in a scale-up phase, focusing on adding new functionality and strengthening the technical infrastructure that supports other teams in building new digital products. We work in a cross-functional product team with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous delivery, ensuring we release early and often.

 

Your role will be to design and deliver high-quality frontend solutions for the Grundfos Connect platform, enabling seamless digital experiences and supporting continuous improvement in deployment speed, reliability, and scalability.       

 

What is the job about? 

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and IoT solutions? As a Senior Frontend Developer at Grundfos, you will design and develop solutions within a team of IoT Developers and Specialists. You will drive initiatives that impact both the division and regional levels, ensuring adherence to enterprise and system architecture, coding standards, quality assurance, and security assurance. Your role will be instrumental in continuously developing the technical area in terms of technology, methods, and tools. 

 

Your main responsibilities: 

  • Drive technical enablers that improve deployment frequency, lead time for changes, mean time to recovery, and change failure rate.
  • Build and maintain frontend features with React and GraphQL, collaborating across backend, UX, and product teams.
  • Strengthen engineering culture by mentoring team members and sharing best practices.     

 

Your background: 

We imagine that you have: 

  • A Master’s Degree or equivalent work experience within Software Development or SW Engineering 
  • Solid experience with React, GraphQL, Launch Darkly, Datadog, Sentry, and distributed microservice architecture  
  • Proven results supporting key initiatives in a large organization; experience in large manufacturing environments is strongly preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of best practices in relevant systems, local laws, and regulations where applicable, in solution development 
  • Ability to excel in Accountability, Collaboration, and Customer centricity 
  • Mastery of innovation and technology research 
  • Effective management of own and team's work goals 

 

The position is based at Grundfos headquarters in Bjerringbro, Denmark. We work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with flexibility to work remotely on other days. This approach balances in-person collaboration with the advantages of remote work.

 

You will report to the Head of Digital Development in Water Utility and collaborate closely with frontend developers, UX designers, the product owner, and DevOps specialists.

 

Work with leads from other teams developing product-specific functionality hosted in Grundfos Connect through micro frontends.

Interface directly with customers alongside business development when needed
