As our new Senior Finance Business Analyst - Group Operations, you will be providing advanced financial analysis and business support to Group Operations, translating complex operational data into actionable insights that drive cost efficiency, investment decisions, and continuous improvement across Grundfos's global production footprint.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Group Operations Finance team, you'll create impact by supporting data-informed decision-making that enhances operational performance and supports Grundfos's mission to pioneer sustainable water and climate solutions.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Deliver financial analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting for Group Operations to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Partner with Finance Business Partners to build business cases for capital investments, cost optimization initiatives, and productivity improvements
- Develop and maintain financial models, KPIs, and dashboards that provide transparency into manufacturing costs, supply chain performance, and operational efficiency
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment between financial plans and operational targets
- Identify risks and opportunities through deep-dive analysis, proactively recommending corrective actions to senior leadership
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial reporting processes and tools across the operations finance function
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a commercially minded finance professional with strong analytical capabilities, operational acumen, and an ability to solve complex problems by your own drive. We would also imagine that you have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or finance business partnering, preferably within manufacturing or operations environments
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and advanced data analytics or automation tools is a plus
