Job Description

As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral member of the local plant management team within Divisional Operations DBS, acting as a trusted financial advisor to plant leadership. Embedded in the unit, you’ll provide forward-looking insights and financial guidance that shape both long-term strategic initiatives and short-term operational plans. Your work will ensure financial considerations are embedded in critical decisions.

 

About the role
As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be embedded in the local plant management team, driving financial performance and strategic alignment across the unit. You’ll act as the single point of accountability for all financial matters, ensuring that financial insights and value creation are at the core of every decision.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Act as a proactive and trusted advisor to plant leadership, supporting and challenging business plans to ensure alignment with strategic and financial goals.
  • Drive performance management through high-quality financial analysis and actionable insights that support continuous improvement.
  • Lead the financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Define and monitor relevant KPIs, enabling timely corrective actions and accountability across the unit.
  • Promote financial acumen across all levels of the organization, fostering a culture of financial awareness and ownership.
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring financial alignment and realization of expected outcomes.

 

About you
You bring a solid foundation in finance, a sharp analytical mindset, and a collaborative approach to business partnering. With a strong understanding of financial processes and operational dynamics, you translate data into insights that influence decisions and drive performance. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working across

 

We imagine that you have: 

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics or another related field.
  •  Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with financial forecasting and planning processes and managing short deadlines during peak periods.
  • Experience working with SAP Erp, BW and Power BI.
  • Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
