Are you passionate about advancing electric motor design through simulation and turning ideas into high-performance products? Join us in developing smarter water solutions that reduce energy use and improve lives.
As our new Senior Product Development Engineer, you will design and optimize electric motors for next-generation pump platforms using advanced electromagnetic and multiphysics simulation. You will join a diverse and supportive culture focused on growth, well-being and belonging.
What you will be doing
In the Motor Design & Simulation team, you will deliver simulation-driven designs that balance performance, cost and producibility, taking concepts through to validated products across global sites.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Design and optimize electric motors using electromagnetic, thermal, NVH and mechanical simulations
- Turn theoretical designs into producible solutions that meet quality and approval requirements
- Lead multidisciplinary studies for stator and rotor modules, balancing performance, cost and constraints
- Coordinate prototypes and testing with global development and production teams
- Explore new motor technologies and improve simulation tools, workflows and AI-driven methods
What makes you a great fit
You are a self-motivated electrical engineer with strong PM-motor design and simulation expertise. You turn complex theory into practical solutions and collaborate effectively across disciplines and cultures. We imagine that you have:
- A master's degree in Electrical Engineering and strong knowledge of electromagnetism and PM-motor design
- Experience with Ansys Motor-CAD, Ansys Maxwell or similar tools, plus Python
- A track record of turning simulation-based designs into validated, producible solutions
- Strong collaboration, presentation and communication skills in English and Danish
- Located in Denmark near our Head Quarters in Bjerringbro
It's a plus if you also:
- Motor development experience in industrial or pump applications
- Knowledge of NVH, thermal, and mechanical domains within electric motors
- Experience with high-performance computing or AI/ML for design optimization
Why you'll love working here
Day to day, you can look forward to:
- Flexible hours, home-working opportunities and parental support
- Annual bonus, health insurance and well-being activities
- Three additional paid volunteering days
- On-demand training and structured development programmes
We welcome applicants of all abilities, experiences and backgrounds. Final candidates may be subject to a background check in accordance with local laws.
