We are looking for a talented team player within the field of data engineering to join our team in Grundfos. Our team is working on building profitable and compliant AI/ML services together with different business teams for the good of Grundfos. To make that happen, we are seeking a motivated and experienced data engineer to make sure the data foundation for our services is in place.
What is the job about?
Join our team at Grundfos and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of data for AI/ML model training. As a key member of our team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that data is available in the appropriate format for effective utilization by AI/ML models. You will also contribute to the development and reuse of data models when creating new AI/ML services and solutions. If you have a strong understanding of data engineering and are passionate about delivering tangible business value through data products, we welcome you to apply and be an essential part of our groundbreaking initiatives.
Your main responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines for our ML/AI Services
- Working closely with data scientists and ML engineers to create robust production solutions
- Developing high quality data models to improve data reuse across the organization
- Ensuring data security and compliance
- Develop technical standards and best practices to ensure consistent development of robust and high-quality AI/ML solutions
Your background:
We imagine that you have:
- A bigger desire to solve relevant problems than to care about latest technology
- Master’s degree in computer science or a very similar field
- Solid experience in having data pipelines in production
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Good understanding of best practices within software engineering and development
- Basic understanding of programming in Python
- Theoretical understanding and practical experience in creating data models (conceptual, logical and physical).
- Basic knowledge, but willingness to learn, about machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake and DataVault. This is not a hard requirement, but much preferred.
What’s in it for you?
Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path. You’ll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive, trusting environment guided by six core values.
In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:
- We encourage you to be at the offices, where you can engage, learn, and have fun with colleagues. If you’ll be working from your home office, we’ll make sure you are well equipped with a good workstation
- On top of it, flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering of your choice
- Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programmes
- Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development
- Diverse, inclusive environment with employee-led forums offering colleagues a safe place to connect and share openly
