What is the job about?
The candidate will be an integral part of the Middle Office Department, and the main role is to provide timely customer support to ensure utmost customer satisfaction and finally customer delight. He/She has to carry out order management and delivery in an efficient and effective manner to fulfill the organization’s requirements.
Main responsibilities:
- To act in line with the Grundfos Purpose and company policies.
- To meet and exceed the internal and external customers’ expectations.
- To ensure that sales targets is achieved in a cost effective manner and coordinate with sales teams and Channel Partners for the same.
- To coordinate between planning, production and sales teams.
- To provide information regarding availability of products & best possible deliveries for local assembled pumps by checking with planning team. For project orders, playing a crucial role in co-ordination with planning team on the delivery lead times during offer stage and ensuring the same during post-order process.
- Handle incoming email inquiries and offer solutions to suite customer needs and specifications with high quality; Produce SAP CRM quotations and deliver to customer timely.
- Provide instant support/solution to inquiries via 1office hotline; Ensure agent’s availability on-line aiming for specified performance of telephony; Proficient use of Trio system for daily operation;
- Identify sales opportunity from new customer and generate leads to external sales
- Operate in CRM as per defined process; reporting any issues to super users for resolution; involvement in functionality improvement.
- Handle customer issues if and when these arise.
- Collect product knowledge and share to the team
- Convert clean orders into Sales Order in SAP(SO) & owner of extranet process.
- Complete Contract review for high value orders & the orders to be booked after compliance to Pricing policy and Approvals.
- Initiate part code creation for non-standard material to ensure timely order booking of direct orders.
- Ensure order acknowledgements / delivery confirmation sent to the customers within agreed time lines.
- Liaise with External customers/Internal customer on delivery schedule/Inspection/any special requirement/change notifications and send out pre-alert information/report to ensure timely order execution.
- Effective monitoring the open orders with customer / sales to achieve company target.
- Administer delivery block whenever required and ensure billing as per customer requirement in line with credit limits.
- Ensure smooth movement of materials complying to credit block & timely dispatch documents like road permits etc.,
- Review order status and regularly update sales management about daily/monthly sales and open orders status
- Implement Grundfos Pricing Policy and effective monitor Aged orders, Storage Charges & Cancellation request.
- Provide preorder support in terms of delivery / material support for customers / sales engineers
- Effectively follow process and ensure data accuracy in SAP system
- Implement and review department KPI
Your Background:
- Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering Graduate from reputed college
- 1-3 years in “Order Execution/Quotations/Customer Support” preferably from Engineering Industry
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize
