As our new Senior Back Office Agent, you will be applying your deep product knowledge and customer service expertise to support sales teams, manage dedicated customer accounts, and ensure seamless order processing across multiple channels. What you will be doing
As a key part of the Commercial Back Office team, you'll create impact by collaborating closely with Key Account Managers, production planning, and logistics teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences that drive Grundfos sales growth..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Prioritise and process customer requests via email, phone, and Teams calls, maintaining accurate records in SAP and ensuring all SLAs are met
- Review, calculate, and issue customer quotations, selecting the right products based on quality, price, and delivery requirements
- Provide pre- and after-sales technical support, product education, and serve as a technical resource for junior team members
- Manage dedicated customer accounts in close collaboration with KAM and TKAM teams, identifying upsell opportunities and handing leads to external sales
- Coordinate with Production Planning, Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Quality departments to resolve order and delivery issues
- Handle and resolve customer complaints at first point of contact while collecting feedback to continuously improve the customer experience
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a technically minded customer service professional with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams. We would also imagine that you have:
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales coordination role within a technical or engineering environment
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD module (Sales and Distribution) and proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field
It is a plus if you also:
- Knowledge of pumps, pump systems, or engineering applications
- Additional language skills in Italian, French, or German
