Senior Application Solution Specialist - Agriculture & Dewatering (sub applications in Livestock & Aquaculture, Mining, Solar-Sustainability and Large Scale Irrigation & Turf)

What’s the job about:
As our Senior Application Solution Specialist, you will be a technical expert and trusted partner in driving the success of the application team. You will be part of a team that makes strategic decisions that set the short-term and long-term direction for Grundfos while meeting our customers’ needs. You will participate in agile work, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. You will also have a deep commitment to providing first class customer service and have exceptional communication among a global audience of stakeholders and customers.
Your main responsibilities

- Dedicated to Global Strategic planning and tactical market development
- Being part of a team that defines and prioritizes our product and application strategies
- Identify new growth opportunities and pilot new ideas.
- Visiting customers globally as to have a deep understanding of their needs both today and into the future
- Strategically evaluating application opportunities, market sizes, CAGR and performing competitive analysis research
- Develop and coordinate multi-year application strategies.
- Understand the application's value chain and the stakeholders
- Monitor costs, prioritize, and implement savings measures.
- Set prices, enable sales force, develop tools, and monitor performance.
- Performance Reporting: Create P&L, monitor KPIs, and contribute to financial planning.
- Identify and manage application-related risks.
- Coordinate with stakeholders that create communication materials.
- Ensure sustainability targets are met and comply with regulations.
- Work with key people in and out of the organisation to help in setting lead times, manage inventory and optimize manufacturing capacity.
- Working to develop solutions that take care of the worlds water resources
Your background:
Along with deep technical product knowledge and hands-on practical experience, we also imagine you may also have:
- Related University Degree or equivalent and preferred to have some relevant type working experience
- Fluent in English
- Industry related experience, preferably to the applications and or sub applications listed
- Proven experience managing processes in global or regional technical development, market analysis, business development, sales and or services
- Strong influencing and communication skills
- Experience ensuring profitability through initiatives
- Experience with driving and specifying digital solutions
- Ability to initiate and manage customer-centric development projects, ensuring positive and on-time market deliveries
