What is the job about?

One of our 11 Product Teams is in search of a new Scrum Master. This team comprises skilled software developers, IT business consultants, and a business-oriented Product Owner from offices in both Denmark and the Philippines. Our aim is to take end-to-end responsibility for our products while closely collaborating with Operations and other teams.

You will be joining a mature agile team that has been working with Scrum and Agile for over 5 years. Our organization understands and values the Scrum Master position, and the collaboration with our management is a true partnership. We are committed to driving innovation and fostering a culture of collaboration and transparency.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Coaching the Team and its members in self-organization and cross-functionality
  • Facilitating Scrum events as requested or needed
  • Helping Product Owner understand product planning in an empirical environment
  • Ensuring the Product Owner knows how to arrange the Product Backlog to maximize value
  • Helping the Scrum Team to create high-value products
  • Finding techniques for effective Product Backlog management
  • Causing change in the organization that increases the productivity of the Scrum Team
  • Developing your own skills and enhancing the facilitation of Scrum events
  • Supporting transparency within the team and organization

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • Experience with Scrum and agile ways of working
  • Expert understanding of team dynamics and how teams work
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant areas or equivalent experience
  • Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps or other software development management tools
  • Excellent communication skills both orally and in written English
  • Strong facilitation skills for Scrum events and other meetings/workshops
