Join Digital Customer Excellence – Content Systems Product Team – a diverse and global team

Are you passionate about agile methodologies and ready to make a significant impact? Our Product Team Content Systems is seeking a dynamic Scrum Master to join our diverse, global team.

About us

Our team comprises skilled software developers, IT business consultants, and a business-oriented Product Owner, with team members located in Denmark and the Philippines. We’ve been on an agile journey for over four years, continuously improving and evolving our practices. At Grundfos, we are committed to agile development across both software and products, with a robust foundation and a strong focus on growth. Currently, we have 11 teams with around 90 members, and we are expanding.

In Content Systems, our vision is to deliver top-tier content management systems that support high-quality customer touchpoints. Our applications are used across various countries and digital services. While we aim for end-to-end responsibility of our products, we also collaborate closely with Operations and other teams.

What is the job about?

You will be stepping into a Scrum setup, where the organization understands and values the Scrum Master position, and the collaboration with our management is a partnership. From the beginning, investing in an agile setup has been a close collaboration with our Business; all our PO’s are from the business and they come with a deep understanding of their business areas. There is still work to be done in expanding our agile bubble to surrounding areas and stakeholders. As an example of such, we are involved in a large, scaled IT program with a value stream perspective. This will impact the team and department, but we have all the right pieces in place - except you?

We need a Scrum Master that embodies the qualities of a Catalyst; someone who can navigate a complexity, drive transformation and promote resilience by removing impediments and promoting continuous improvement. We want to drive innovation and foster a culture of collaboration and transparency, which are essential for navigating complex challenges.

The Scrum Masters in our department can depend on each other for guidance and discussions to help create a solid agile culture. While in general we are very pragmatic in our daily work, we are also very ambitious. We expect your contribution to include creating a safe and productive space for team members both through working within the team and through helping our whole organization understand how they can also work productively with the team.

What’s in it for you?
Whether it’s developing leadership skills or advancing your expertise even further, we’ll support you with continuous learning and development opportunities, to help discuss and steer your long-term Grundfos career path. You’ll be welcomed from day one into an inclusive, trusting environment guided by six core values.

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:

  • We encourage you to be at the offices, where you can engage, learn, and have fun with colleagues. If you’ll be working from your home office, we’ll make sure you are well equipped with a good workstation
  • On top of it, flexible working hours and up to 3 days’ additional paid leave for volunteering of your choice
  • Annual bonuses, health insurance, parental support, internal well-being consultants and programmes
  • Access to the modern Grundfos Academy to pursue further both personal and professional development
  • Diverse, inclusive environment with employee-led forums offering colleagues a safe place to connect and share openly

What do you need to apply?

We are looking for a person, that possess a lot of empathy and thrive in a team that works closely together. Yor are a team player by heart. Moreover, you easily build trust with people and like networking and are good at connecting people. Finally, you are proactive and find it easy to inspire action. Also, we imagine that you:

  • Have experience with Scrum – and an understanding of agile methods and practices and how to apply them in a team context
  • Have experience working as a Scrum Master
  • Have great communication skills and the ability to write and speak English effortlessly

”What few people know is that Grundfos has a quite large internal IT division. We constellate approximately 700 people working with IT as a full-time profession. We enable Grundfos' digital needs in everything from ERP solutions, like finance and production, to digital self service solutions faced towards customers. We have lots of technologies, exciting challenges and opportunities in a global setup which is also reflected in our department. We work closely together across many different cultures and ways of working to deliver successful solutions globally. Despite being based in several global locations, we have an incredible team spirit and a flat hierarchy where we help each other and share our knowledge” René explains.
