Production Team Leader

What is the job about?

Grundfos is seeking a talented Production Supervisor to join its SQ/SQF APU team. The Production Supervisor is responsible of the operations basis: Safety, quality, delivery & cost on Pumps APU, by applying full leadership skills that´ll help to achieve production targets. Keep full communication with all team members to get better results, administrates direct labor workers leading with example and keeping motivation in the team. Promotes and ensures to meet internal rules in terms of SQDC and APU deliverables as per annual targets deployed on target letter and PDD and backs up the APU Manager. This position reports directly to the APU Manager and will operate daily out of the San Luis Potosí facility (MX) on a Onsite schedule. 

Your main responsibilities:

  • Manage direct labor in terms of operations, ensure correct payment.
  • Lead production team to achieve APT performance target
  • Ensure to meet all processes related with quality systems (ISO)
  • Keep accuracy of WIP inventory (COGIS control)
  • Lead APU team for daily problem solving and systematic as per QIP requirements

 

Your background:

We imagine that you have: 

  • Engineering degree
  • English level 75% (able to be part of phone and conference call)
  • SAP knowledge
  • Basics on safety and ergonomics
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge
  • Problem solving tools knowledge
  • Production systems knowledge
