As our new Maintenance Technician, you will be executing preventive, corrective, and TPM maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance across our manufacturing operations. This position reports to our Maintenance team Leader and would operates in an On-site model from San Luis Potosi, Mexico facility.
Please note that relocation is not supported for this role. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in Mexico without sponsorship.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Plant Maintenance team, you'll create impact by Ensuring equipment reliability and uptime that directly supports Grundfos's mission to deliver world-class water technology solutions..
Your main responsibilities include:
- Execute work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance as assigned by the maintenance supervisor, leader, or planner
- Document daily maintenance activities in SAP following established maintenance procedures
- Identify and report equipment anomalies, issues, or spare part shortages to the maintenance leader for timely resolution
- Provide maintenance support and service to all plant areas and departments for equipment repairs and related activities
- Contribute to health, safety, and environmental objectives by reporting and investigating incidents and deviations in your work area
- Maintain strict order and cleanliness of your work area, tools, and plant equipment
What makes you a great fit
Above all, you are a hands-on technical professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills, problem-solving ability, and a proactive attitude toward equipment reliability and workplace safety. We would also imagine that you have:
- TSU or Engineering degree in Mechanical-Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field
- Technical knowledge in mechanics, electricity, electronics, and ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Experience applying preventive and corrective maintenance to industrial equipment, including use of diagnostic tools
- Proficiency with CMMS software (e.g., SAP) and
- Basic/intermediate English level for reading technical documents and blueprints
It is a plus if you also:
- Knowledge of Kuka robots and PLC programming
- Welding skills and certifications
- Experience with TPM methodologies in a manufacturing environment
